About this work

As a child, imagination turned the smallest things into grand experiences. A Nintendo DS felt like an endless new world, football boots transformed me into a professional player, and a favourite CD in the car made every drive feel like the start of a journey across Europe.

When we are young, our world is small, but everything within it is new, making it feel vast and full of wonder. As adults, our world grows larger, yet that sense of wonder often fades. We become focused on bigger responsibilities and important concerns, slowly losing the ability to find joy in the ordinary and the small.

By revisiting and visualising nostalgic memories through a childlike perspective, I aim to rediscover that sense of greatness in everyday moments and translate it into a tangible experience for the modern world.

An installation where the past and the modern age come together through a fusion of nostalgia and technology.

The more personal it becomes, the stranger it feels.

A space for endless play and imagination.
